IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa track and field program has announced dates for its annual winter clinics.
Assistant coach Scott Cappos will host a shot put and discus clinic for junior high and high school athletes and coaches Feb. 19 and March 4. Cost is $60 per clinic or $100 for both dates. A special elite camp will also be held March 18. Elite camp tuition is $100 and includes a free DVD and camp shirt. All three camps will be held at the Iowa football bubble from 12-4 p.m.
Assistant coach Clive Roberts will host elite horizontal jumps clinics Feb. 19 and March 4. The Feb. 19th clinic will run from 2:30-6:30 p.m. The March 4th clinic will run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Cost is $75 for one clinic or $130 for both dates. T-shirts are included for each date. High school athletes and coaches are invited to attend, but registration is limited to the first 30 participants. Both clinics will be held at the UI Recreation Building.
