IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa volleyball team has added a home date to its 2012 spring schedule. The Hawkeyes will host Western Illinois at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 inside the practice gym at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The public is invited to attend, but seating is limited.
Iowa will compete in three spring tournaments before hosting their home finale. The Hawkeyes open competition at the Dunes Volleyball Club Collegiate Tournament on March 31 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. They then travel to Aurora, Ill., to compete in the Great Lakes Center Collegiate Spring Challenge on April 14 before concluding spring competition at the UNI Spring Tournament on April 21 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Starting times will be determined at a later date.
The Hawkeyes began organized team activities March 19. They’ll wrap up the spring training period April 28.
