Menzel adds Lo to Recruiting Class

Dec. 3, 2012

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s golf coach Megan Menzel announced that Celeste Lo (Sabah, Malaysia) has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa in the fall of 2013. Lo is the third member of Iowa’s 2013 recruiting class, joining Allison Lindley (Kokomo, Ind.) and Jessie Sindlinger (Charles City, Iowa).

“We are very excited that Celeste chose the University of Iowa,” Menzel said. “Celeste has a lot of competitive experience and has had tremendous success throughout her junior career. She has been a proven leader at her school in Australia, not only performing at the top of her class on the golf course, but also academically. I believe Celeste will come into our program and make an immediate and positive impact.

“This class brings great depth to our team for the coming years,” Menzel said. “Celeste, Allison and Jessie come in with great experience and a ton of potential. This class will help our team continue to climb in the national rankings. The work ethic and leadership qualities that the three of these players possess will make them solid additions to our team”
