FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Iowa track and field team finalized competition at the Tyson Invitational on Saturday. The Tyson Invitational was held at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas. No team scores were kept at the event.

Ethan Holmes recorded a personal best time in the men’s 200 meters. The senior clocked a time of 21.49 to finish 13th. That time ranks ninth all-time at Iowa. Sophomore Kaleb VanCleave also competed in the event. VanCleave finished 42nd with a personal best time of 22.30. Raven Moore competed in the women’s 200 meters. The junior clocked a time of 24.31 to finish 26th.

“Reordering our top ten performance list was certainly a highlight for us this weekend,” Larry Wieczorek, director of track and field, said. “That’s a good measuring stick that our program keeps getting better.”

Klyvens Delaunay recorded a 10th place finish in the men’s triple jump invitational. The freshman posted a leap of 50-0 ½ (15.25m).

Sophomore Khanishah Williams earned an 11th place finish in the women’s high jump invitational. Williams recorded a leap of 5-5 ¾ (1.67m).

The Hawkeyes will return to action Feb. 15 hosting the Iowa Invitational.
