IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa volleyball team will host two matches at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Saturday. The Hawkeyes will face Missouri S&T at 10 a.m. and Western Illinois at 2 p.m.
Admission is free, and fans are asked to enter through the West doors of the arena.
Iowa is excited about playing at home this weekend.
“There is always great energy when playing at home,” said UI head coach Sharon Dingman. “We look forward to having some fans come out to watch the Hawkeyes and see how much we are improving with every spring practice and competition.”
The Hawkeyes continue action next weekend when they travel to Chicago to compete in the Loyola-Chicago Tournament on April 13, before concluding spring action at the St. Louis University Tournament on April 20.
Iowa will return 15-of-16 letterwinners in 2013.
