IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa has announced that season ticket renewals and purchases for the 2013 volleyball season are now available through the UI Athletics Ticket Office. To secure tickets for the 15 home events scheduled, visit hawkeyesports.com or call 1-800 IA-HAWKS.
Season tickets are currently $30 for the general public. The season ticket package includes a 2013 Iowa volleyball t-shirt, as well as one free season ticket with the purchase of a full-priced ticket. Season ticket holders will be provided refreshments during the intermission period between games and will receive an inside look at Iowa volleyball through email updates and a newsletter delivered by the Hawkeye coaching staff.
Fans 18 and younger and UI students can attend all 15 home matches, 10 against Big Ten opponents, free of charge. Non-student fans over the age of 18 can purchase single match tickets for $5.
The Hawkeyes open the 2013 regular season on the road at the Chanticleer Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C., Aug. 30-31. In addition to Coastal Carolina, Iowa will take on Wofford and Youngstown State.
The squad kicks off its home schedule with matches against Drake, Ball State, Western Illinois and UIC in the Hawkeye Challenge, Sept. 13-14, in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
