Hawkeyes Release 2014 Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa track and field program released its 2014 indoor and outdoor schedules Wednesday.

The indoor schedule includes two home dates, while the outdoor season features the 15th annual Musco Twilight and a return trip the Drake Relays.

The Hawkeyes open the indoor season hosting the Iowa Open on Jan. 18, and close the indoor regular season Feb. 21 hosting the Iowa Invite. The SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, hosts the Big Ten Indoor Championships from Feb. 28-March 1, and the University of New Mexico hosts the NCAA Championships on March 14-15.

The outdoor season opens March 28-29 at the Arizona State Invitational, and includes dates at Stanford, Arkansas, Western Illinois, and Mt. San Antonio College. The Hawkeyes return home to compete at the Drake Relays on April 24-26, and close the regular season hosting Musco Twilight XV on May 2-3.

Purdue University hosts the Big Ten Championships on May 16-18. The NCAA first round is May 29-31 in Fayetteville, Ark., and the NCAA Championships return to Eugene, Ore., on June 11-14.
