IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa dance team will host its annual Dance Convention on Sat., Nov. 9, in the UI Field House’s North Gym.
The convention is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in trying out for the Iowa dance team or another collegiate dance team to learn the skills required at this level. The cost of the clinic is $50, and there is a discount when registering a team of 10 or more.
The clinic will take place at the UI Field House’s North Gym. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It includes technique classes, new routines and a master class. (The convention will run over lunch so bring your own lunch.)

For teams participating at the convention, there is the option for the Iowa dance team to critique your state routine (on a first come first served basis).
Registrations are due by Oct. 31, 2013.
