IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa junior Gabe Hull is set to compete in the discus at the U.S. Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California, on Friday.
Hull, the school record holder in the discus (207-1; 63.11m), earned second team All-America honors with an 11th-place finish in the discus (190-3; 57.99m) at the NCAA Championships on June 13. The junior took the discus title in four outdoor meets this season and grabbed the silver medal at the Big Ten Championships (198-2; 60.40m) on May 18.
Hull is scheduled to compete Friday at 5:15 p.m. (CT).
