You have a rare opportunity to apply to become the mascot for the University of Iowa. Herky the Hawk is the icon for the University and that could be you! Herky travels all over the state of Iowa, Midwest and country and performs in numerous events for the university community throughout the year.
From riding into Kinnick Stadium to start each football game amongst 70,000 screaming fans to changing the lives of ailing children with regular hospital visits, Herky is the definition of what it means to be a good citizen, loveable icon, and most of all a Hawkeye.
