IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head volleyball coach Bond Shymansky and his staff announced the dates of summer camps Monday afternoon. Eleven options are available from July 6-19 for different age groups.
The summer kicks off with a FUNdamentals Camp for grades 4-8 on July 6-8, and is followed by a Positions Camp (for middles and setters) on July 9 and an ELITE Camp from July 10-12 for those in grades 8-12.
Individual Skills Clinics for passing (July 13), beginner setting (July 13), attacking (July 14), advanced setting (July 14), blocking (July 15), and serving (July 15) are available for entrants in grades 6-12.
After a Positions Camp (for outsides and liberos) on July 16 for grades 9-12, the Hawkeye volleyball summer camp schedule comes to a close with a TEAM Camp from July 17-19 for all junior varsity and varsity entrants.
