GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — Amy Ihm, Jessie Sindlinger and Jessica Ip are set to represent the University of Iowa women’s golf team at the Meijer LPGA Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.

The 18-hole qualifier will be held at Blythefield Country Club with a 9 a.m. (CT) shotgun start. The top two players of this tournament will qualify to play in the official 2015 Meijer LPGA Classic presented by Kraft held on July 21-16. The concept of the tournament was to create an 18-hole qualifier for two sponsor exemptions into the LPGA Meijer Classic.
“It’s awesome that Meijer is providing the opportunity for our Big Ten conference players to qualify for an LPGA event,” said head coach Megan Menzel. “It’s a privilege that they are allowing us to send three players from each of our programs and I know Amy, Jessie and Jessica feel like this is a great tournament to play in this summer.”
