India, the 2011 Big Ten Player of the Year, survived Monday’s Open Qualifier after carding a seven-under-par 65 at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Florida. India played a near perfect round of 18, parring nine holes and birdieing eight, including six on the front nine. Other qualifiers include Lucas Lee (-11; 61), Brandon Hagy (-7; 65), and Tom Hoge (-7; 65).

Among the 144 golfers competing at the Valspar Championship is 2015 Masters and U.S. Open Champ, Jordan Spieth. Spieth won last year’s Valspar Championship via playoff.

In Thursday’s opening round, India is paired with Sam Saunders and Bronson Burgoon and is scheduled to tee off hole 10 at 8:51 a.m. (CT). Fans can watch the Valspar Championship live on PGA Tour Live or the NBC Golf Channel.
