THIS WEEK
University of Iowa women’s golfer Amy Ihm will represent the Hawkeyes this week at the NCAA Bryan Regional. The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Thursday and will be played at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.

IHM MAKES HISTORY
This weekend, Ihm will become the first UI women’s golfer to compete in NCAA postseason competition since Stacey Arnold in 1990 and the second individual qualifier in program history.

THE SCHEDULE
• Thursday, May 5 — First Round — Tee times off holes one and 10 starting at 8 a.m. (CT)
• Friday, May 6 — Second Round — Tee times off holes one and 10 starting at 8 a.m.
• Saturday, May 7 — Final Round — Tee times off holes one and 10 starting at 8 a.m.

THE COMPETITION
Participating Teams (seeded in the following order):
UCLA, Georgia, Arizona, Kent State (Mid-American), Furman (Southern), Texas A&M, TCU, Texas, SMU, Louisville, Miami (Fla.), Tulane, Campbell (Big South), Indiana, Texas State (Sun Belt), Delaware (Colonial Athletic), Lamar (Southland), and Quinnipiac (Metro Atlantic).

Participating Individuals:
Laura Lonardi (Baylor), Alessandra Liu (William and Mary), Bianca Pagdanganan (Gonzaga), Hannah Wood (Oklahoma), Brooke Ferrell (Wisconsin), and Amy Ihm (Iowa).

THE COURSE
• Traditions Club — Par 72 — 6,373 yards
• Traditions Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II in 2004.
• The Club presents many challenges, including dog legs, blind shots, 68 strategically placed bunkers, and challenging green complexes.

IHM AT THE B1G CHAMPIONSHIPS
Senior Amy Ihm led the Hawkeyes to a ninth place finish at the Big Ten Championships on April 24. The Hawkeyes tallied a 54-hole total of 876 (+12) — their best championship result by 34 strokes.

Ihm paced the team during the final round and in the tournament, posting rounds of 73, 70, and a career-low bogey-free 68 (-4). Ihm’s career-low three-round total of 211 (-5) broke Iowa’s program record of 212 (-4) for individual 54-hole performance previously set by sophomore Jessica Ip at the Diane Thomason Invitational. The senior tied for fourth place overall and was named to the All-Big Ten Championship Team.

IHM EARNS PAIR OF B1G HONORS
Senior Amy Ihm was named second team All-Big Ten on April 26. The honor marks the first of Ihm’s career and the program’s first All-Big Ten selection since Stacey Bergman (1998). Ihm is the sixth Hawkeye in program history to collect all-conference honors. In addition to an All-Big Ten selection, Ihm was honored with the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.

IHM’S HISTORIC SEASON
• Ihm owns a 73.1 stroke average — the lowest season average in program history by 3.2 strokes.

• Ihm was named second team All-Big Ten on April 26. The honor marks the first of Ihm’s career and the program’s first All-Big Ten selection since Stacey Bergman (1998). Ihm is the sixth Hawkeye in program history to collect all-conference honors.

• Ihm paced the Hawkeyes at the Big Ten Championships on April 24, recording her seventh top-10 finish of the season. The senior carded 41 bogey-free holes to close the tournament and tied for fourth place overall — earning her a spot on the All-Big Ten Championship Team.

• The Peosta, Iowa, native’s career-low three-round total of 211 (-5) at the Big Ten Championships on April 24 broke Iowa’s program record of 212 (-4) for individual 54-hole performance.

• Ihm ranks second all-time for an individual 18-hole performance after firing a 68 at the Johnie Imes Invitational on September 29.

• Ihm fired the program’s lowest 36-hole total on September 29 at the Johnie Imes Invitational. The senior registered a six-under-par 138 in two rounds of action.

• Ihm tallied two Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors — the first and second honors of her career — on September 28-29 and on March 14-15. She was the first Hawkeye to earn the weekly conference honor since Lauren English on April 3, 2013.

IHM IN THE TOP 10
Senior Amy Ihm led the Hawkeye squad with seven top-10 finishes in 10 tournaments this season.

Ihm tied for sixth at the Diane Thomason Invitational (Sept. 13), tied for eighth at the Johnie Imes Invite (Sept. 29), placed seventh at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational (Oct. 7), tied for fourth at the Entrada Classic (March 14-15), tied for 10th at the Red Raider Invitational (April 9), tied for sixth at the Lady Buckeye Invitational (April 16-17), and tied for fourth at the Big Ten Championships (April 22-24).

IHM TABS 2ND B1G GOLFER OF THE WEEK HONOR
Senior Amy Ihm was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on March 16 for her efforts at the En­trada Classic. It is the second honor of her career and her second honor this season.

Ihm led the Hawkeyes at the Entrada Classic, carding a 73 (+1) on the final 18 holes to finish with a total of 221 (+5). The Peosta, Iowa, native shot an impressive 42 holes at or below par over the course of the tournament and led the 14-team field in birdies (10).

Ihm earned her first career Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor for her performance at the Johnie Imes Invitational on Sept. 28-29.

The Peosta, Iowa, native was the first Hawkeye to earn the weekly conference honor since Lauren English on April 3, 2013. Ihm fired a career-best, 54-hole score of 213 (-3) to tie for eighth at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
