HEAR FROM COACH SHYMANSKY
“Great job by our group to get it going early here this morning. We were led by some young players with Brie Orr setting a great game. Claire Sheehan really took over with 19 kills for a career-high, and she hit .429. She’s a six-rotation player for us as a freshman, and that’s a lot of pressure. She’s really learning and growing and responding well. I thought overall it was a nice team effort. We played a really clean game. We didn’t have a lot of hitting errors, which has been important, and we started to reduce our service errors. It was a good start to the day.”
