Austin, Texas — Big Ten Network and FloSports, a provider of live digital sports and original content, recently announced a multi-year agreement that includes distribution rights to more than 1,000 non-televised Big Ten Conference events.
The events, that were previously exclusive to BTN Plus on BTN2Go and range from basketball to wrestling, are now available through the FloSports sport-specific subscription channels FloWrestling, FloHoops, FloSoftball, and FloTrack.
In addition to BTN Plus events, a subscription to any channel will grant fans access to thousands of non-Big Ten events at the youth, college, and professional levels within each of the sport channels.
Based in Austin, Texas, FloSports operates a network of 20-plus sites, producing live broadcasts, documentaries, breaking news, studio shows, and more. There is free and premium content, that is accessible via monthly and annual PRO subscriptions. Both subscriptions provide access to premium content across every site.
Fans can download FloSports apps on Roku, Apple TV4, and iOS, to watch live events across all screens.
With the agreement in place, BTN Plus will remain available within BTN2Go with no change for current subscribers. A subscription includes non-televised games and events, produced in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference universities. In addition to the games, BTN Plus also offers access to BTN’s library of B1G Classic Football and B1G Classic Basketball games.
A BTN Plus subscription does not require a Big Ten Network television subscription.
