Iowa to Explore New Customer Service, Analytics, and Ticket Sales Solutions

IOWA CITY, Iowa – – The University of Iowa Athletics Department released today a Request for Proposal (RFP) to evaluate companies providing comprehensive ticket sales, analytics, and customer service solutions. 

“Hawkeye fans are the best in the country and their experience is our number one priority.  We want the process of buying tickets and cheering on the Hawkeyes to be as convenient as possible,” stated Gary Barta, the Henry B. and Patricia B. Tippie Director of Athletics Chair.  “This is not a new concept for intercollegiate athletics or our department.  We have had a relationship with an outbound sales company for many years.  The environment continues to evolve, along with the importance of technology and data analytics, and we believe it is important to explore the current market.”

If selected, a new partner would be the front porch to serve Hawkeye fans, leading the customer service experience and assisting with the purchase of tickets for all ticketed athletic events.

“As this is a request for proposal, we will evaluate all submissions to see if there is a fit for our fans and our department,” Barta added.
