Carrollton, Texas — University of Iowa freshman Rachel Fujitani is tied for 10th through 36 holes at the Bruzzy Challenge. The Hawkeyes have a 36-hole score of 633 (+57) and are in 13th place. 
 
The Maridoe golf course proved to be difficult, with only two individuals finishing at-or-below par through 36-holes.  No. 38 Texas A&M is in first with a score of 591 (+15).  They are followed by No. 34 Iowa State (595; +19) and No. 26 Houston (605; +29).
 
COMPETING INDIVIDUALLY
Senior Morgan Kukla is competing as an individual.  She carded a two-round score of 165 (+21).  She is 72nd with 18 holes left to play.
 
FUJITANI’S STRONG DAY 1
Freshman Rachel Fujitani fired three birdies in round two, jumping seven spots on the leaderboard after the opening round.  She carded a second-round score of 74 (+2).  After 36-holes, she is tied for tenth with a score of 150 (+6).
