IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa senior golfer Kristin Glesne took the title at the 2018 Colorado Golf Association Women’s Stroke Play Championship on June 20-22.  
 
Glesne carded a 54-hole total of 218 (+2) at the Black Bear Golf Club in Aurora, Colorado.  After recording an even-par 72 in round one, Glesne utilized four birdies to turn in a two-under-par 70 in round two. The San Antonio, Texas, native finished with a 76 (+4) over the final 18-holes to tie for first overall. After three playoff holes, Glesne claimed medalist honors.
 
Glesne competed in nine tournaments for the Hawkeyes during the 2017-18 season. She registered a career-best finish (T-28th) at the Ladies Fall Collegiate in Atlanta (Oct. 27-29), and a career-low 54-hole score of 218 (+5) at the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Knoxville, Tennessee (Sept. 18-19).
