Rennegarbe Registers Top-25 Finish

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Senior Shawn Rennegarbe notched a top-25 finish to lead the University of Iowa women’s golf team in the final round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the Sahalee Country Club on Wednesday.
 
Washington won the event (859; -5), Oregon State (883; +19) finished second and Pepperdine placed third (891; +27). Iowa finished 10th with a 54-hole total of 927 (+63).
 
RENNEGARBE PACES HAWKEYES
Senior Shawn Rennegarbe tied for 24th, carding a three-round total of 227 (+5). She recorded five birdies en-route to a two-over-par second round. On Wednesday, Rennegarbe registered a 77 (+5) third round score with two birdies.
 
Freshman Manuela Lizarazu finished the first round one-over-par with three birdies. Lizarazu finished with a 54-hole score of 229 (+13), tying for 30th.
