Lizarazu in 10th After 36 Holes

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – Freshman Manuela Lizarazu registered a 36-hole score of 144 (+2) to lead the University of Iowa women’s golf team on Saturday. She is tied for 10th.
 
Auburn is in first with a 36-hole score of 565 (-3). They are followed by Vanderbilt (575; +7) and Texas (581; +13). Iowa is in 15th, carding a score of 627 (+59). 
 
LIZARAZU PACES HAWKS
Freshman Manuela Lizarazu carded four birdies on the back-nine en-route to a two-over-par second round. Lizarazu notched a season-best, 18-hole score of 70 (-1) in the first round.
