IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa senior volleyball player Taylor Louis has earned second-team All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced Wednesday.

Louis, a native of Evanston, Illinois, led the Hawkeyes with 430 kills and ended her collegiate career as the Division I active kills leader (1,964). Louis tallied 23 matches with 10 or more kills, including a season-high 24 kills in a victory over No. 6 Wisconsin on Oct. 6.

Overall, this is Louis’ fourth career conference honor. She earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2017, and first-team All-Big East in 2015 and 2016 while playing at Marquette.

The recognition is Iowa’s 26th All-Big Ten honor and its first first-or second-team honor since 2001 (Sarah Meyermann; first team).
