COACH STITH’S COMMENTS
“Benton played solid today and led the team. We had too many doubles and triples, which proved costly. We need to be sharper tomorrow, execute better, and avoid big numbers.”
The second round of the Puerto Rico Classic will tee off Monday morning at 7 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start format. Iowa will be paired with No. 5 Alabama and Maryland in round two.
