Lizarazu Jumps Up 18 Spots on Final Day

TUCSON, Ariz. – Freshman Manuela Lizarazu led the University of Iowa women’s golf team at the Wildcat Invitational on March 11-12. Lizarazu finished with a 54-hole score of 227 (+11).
                                                        
Arizona State won the event with a three-round score of 886 (+22). Oregon (893; +29) and Arizona (894; +30) finished second and third. Iowa finished the tournament in 16th place with a three-round score of 944 (+80).

HAWKEYE LEADERBOARD
Manuela Lizarazu climbed up 18 spots on the leaderboard Tuesday, tying for 22nd. Lizarazu carded three birdies on the front nine in the third round en-route to finishing one-over-par. Lizarazu registered four birdies in the second round.
Sophomore Brett Permann recorded a 54-hole score of 234 (+18), tying for 51st. Permann notched three birdies in the first round, finishing four-over-par.
Freshman Dana Lerner registered a three-round score of 242 (+26). Senior Kristin Glesne and sophomore Stephanie Herzog tied for 81st and 85th, respectively. Senior Shawn Rennegarbe finished 90th while competing as an individual.
