Permann, Lizarazu Lead the Way

TUCSON, Ariz.– Sophomore Brett Permann and freshman Manuela Lizarazu led the University of Iowa women’s golf team through the first two rounds of the Wildcat Invitational on Monday.
 
UNLV and Iowa State are tied for first after carding two-round scores of 594 (+18). Arizona (595; +19) and Oregon (599; +23) are in second and third. Iowa is tied for 16th with a 36-hole score of 631 (+55).
 
HAWKEYE LEADERBOARD
Permann is tied for 31st with a two-round score of 153 (+9). Permann finished the first round four-over-par with three birdies. She recorded one birdie in the second, finishing five-over-par.
Freshman Manuela Lizarazu finished with a 36-hole score of 154 (+10), tying for 40th. She registered three birdies in the second round to finish three-over-par.
Freshman Dana Lerner is tied for 75th with a two-round score of 161 (+17). Senior Kristin Glesne and sophomore Stephanie Herzog are in 80th and 87th place, respectively. Senior Shawn Rennegarbe is tied for 90th while competing as an individual.
