DES MOINES, Iowa — The University of Iowa track and field team kicked off the Drake Relays on Thursday.

Freshman Anna Hostetler moved up on the Hawkeyes’ all-time list with a 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 10:57.25, a time that ranks eighth among the top 10 times in Iowa history.
 
Three additional Hawkeyes ran personal-best times, including sophomore Lindsay Welker (800 meters, 2:14.99), Jeff Roberts (1,500 meters, 3:49.71), and Noah Healy (5,000 meters, 14:17.49). Freshman Kylie Latham ran her first career 10,000 meters in 36:58.15.
 
The Hawkeyes continue the Drake Relays on Friday. Their first event of the day is the women’s long jump and starts at 10 a.m. (CT). Running events start with the 100-meter hurdles at 12:10 p.m. (CT). A full schedule is on hawkeyesports.com/trackschedule.
