IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa cross country team opens the 2019 season hosting the Hawkeye Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Ashton Cross Country Course in Iowa City.
The season opener is one of seven events on the schedule. The Hawkeyes have three regular season road trips before postseason action begins Sunday, Nov. 3 at the Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
The NCAA Regionals are Friday, Nov. 15 at Stillwater, Oklahoma, and the NCAA Finals are Saturday, Nov. 23 at Terre Haute, Indiana.
The Iowa men and women compete at the same seven events. Start times have not yet been announced. The complete schedule is available at hawkeyesports.com.
