8 Hawkeyes Head to USATF Outdoor Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Eight student-athletes tied to the University of Iowa track and field team will compete at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, beginning Thursday and ending Sunday.  
 
The following will be competing in the first round of their respective events with the opportunity to move further into the competition:
Matt Manternach – 800 meters (Thurs. at 6:47 p.m.)
Erik Sowinski – 800 meters (Thurs. at 6:47 p.m.)
Carter Lilly – 800 meters (Thurs. at 6:47 p.m.)
Mar’yea Harris – 400 meters (Thurs. at 7:37 p.m.)
Kevin Lewis – 10,000 meters (Thurs. at 9:29 p.m.)
Aaron Mallett – 110-meter hurdles (Sat. at 2:23 p.m.)
Brittany Brown – 200 meters (Sat. at 1:33 p.m.)
Laulauga Tausaga – discus (Sun. at 3 p.m.)
