STARKVILLE, Miss. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished round two of the Magnolia Invitational on Monday. The Hawkeyes now have a two-round total of 615 (+39) and remain ninth in the tournament.
No. 23 Louisiana State University continues to lead the meet with a 36-hole total of 571 (-5). No. 36 Auburn follows with a score of 577 (-1) and No. 25 Mississippi State is third in the meet with a score of 581 (-1).
Freshman Jacquelyn Galloway fell nine spots on the leader board and is tied for 21st with a two-round total of 149 (+5). Galloway added three more birdies to her total of six for the meet.
Sophomore Manuela Lizarazu jumped four spots on the leader board and finished the second round with a score of 151 (+7) tying for 28th. Freshman Lea Zeitler jumped eight spots on the leader board and is tied for 39th with a 36-hole score of 154 (+10). Zeitler is one of three competing to score an eagle.
Sophomore Dana Lerner completed the second round with a total of 160 (+16). Freshman Morgan Goldstein finished in the 58th spot with a two-round score 166 (+22). Senior Sarah Overton is competing individually and is tied for 54th with 162 (+18) after two rounds.
