Iowa Opens 2020 Hosting Hawkeye Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa cross country team opens the 2020 season hosting the Hawkeye Invitational on Friday, Sept. 4, at the Ashton Cross Country Course in Iowa City.

The season opener is one of eight events on the schedule. The Hawkeyes have four regular season road trips before postseason action begins Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The NCAA Regionals are Friday, Nov. 13, in Lawrence, Kansas and the NCAA Championships are Saturday, Nov. 21, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The Iowa men and women compete at the same eight events. Start times have not yet been announced. The complete schedule is available at hawkeyesports.com.
