IOWA CITY, Iowa — For the third consecutive year, Hawk Talk Monthly, the official e-magazine of the University of Iowa Athletics Department, has been recognized as Best in the Nation for online magazines. The award was recently announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The monthly publication features editorial content on University of Iowa student-athletes, coaches and staff, along with graphics and photos. The publication has been judged Best in the Nation for three consecutive years as part of the annual publication awards program sponsored by CoSIDA.
Hawk Talk Monthly is produced by the External Relations unit of University of Iowa Athletics. The magazine is edited by Darren Miller, director of multimedia programming, with graphic design provided by Matt Ellison, director of graphic arts. Photos are provided by Brian Ray, University of Iowa athletics director of photography, Stephen Mally, assistant photo director, and Miller, while the videos are the product of HawkVision.
