Hawkeyes To Open 2021 Season In Jacksonville

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa men’s golf team announced on Tuesday its 2021 spring schedule.

Iowa’s schedule includes seven regular season tournaments beginning with the Timaquana Collegiate in Jacksonville, Florida on Jan. 25-26. The Hawkeyes will return to Florida the following week for the annual Big Ten Match Play event in Palm Coast (Feb. 5-6).

Iowa will then compete in the Kiawah Invitational in South Carolina (Feb. 14-16) and the Spartan Collegiate at Sea Island in Georgia (March 8-9).

The Hawkeyes will host a pair of tournaments during the month of April. First, Iowa will host the inaugural Calusa Cup in Naples, Florida, at the gorgeous Calusa Pines Golf Club (April 4-6). The three-day tournament will feature eight of the top teams in the nation. The Hawkeyes will then host its annual Hawkeye Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City (April 17-18).

Iowa’s regular season slate concludes the following week at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio (April 24-25).

Postseason dates include the Big Ten Championships in Carmel, Indiana (April 30-May 2), NCAA Regionals (May 10-12), and the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona (May 28-June 2).
