Hawkeyes Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Twenty-two University of Iowa student-athletes have been named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team.

To be named an All-Academic Athlete students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have finished the indoor season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The Hawkeye women were was also recognized as a USTFCCCA Academic Team by putting together a 3.46 cumulative grade point average. It is the fifth season in a row the Hawkeye women have been recognized.
