Iowa Volleyball Will Make 2 Appearances on BTN

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Big Ten Network announced on Monday that two University of Iowa volleyball matches will be televised live on BTN in 2021.

The Hawkeyes will open their Big Ten season on BTN against Illinois on Sept. 22. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m, CT.

Iowa’s road contest against Wisconsin on Oct. 6, will also be televised live on BTN beginning at 6 p.m. CT.

In total BTN and ESPN combine to air 54 conference matches beginning with Baylor vs. Minnesota on Aug. 27, on ESPNU.

In the coming weeks, additional matches are expected to be assigned to both Big Ten Network and Big Ten Network+, a subscription service for non-televised live events. The Hawkeyes open the 2021 season on the road against Duke and Coastal Carolina on Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, in the Coastal Carolina Invitational.
