Volleyball Adds Kent State Transfer Jacqlyn Caspers

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Kent State transfer Jacqlyn Caspers will join the University of Iowa volleyball team in the fall of 2022, it was announced Thursday by head coach Jim Barnes.

Caspers, a 6-4 middle hitter, spent the last four years with the Golden Flashes before entering the transfer portal.

The Swaledale, Iowa native, saw action in 63 sets last season. She recorded 91 kills and 50 blocks with a .297 attacking percentage. Caspers has a career 148 kills and 82 blocks over 123 sets.

The West Fork prep totaled 601 kills and 249 career digs during high school career. Caspers was a two-time second team all-conference selection. She was also a first team all-conference selection in basketball.
