OMAHA, Neb. – Two University of Iowa golfers — senior Lea Zeitler and sophomore Caroline Gray – both fired their best rounds of the weekend as they wrapped up play at the Big O Classic at Oak Hills Golf Course on Tuesday. Both players were competing as individuals.
Gray fired a final round 80 – her best of the tournament – to finish in a tie for 38th place with a 247 (85-82-80). She tallied one birdie during Tuesday’s final round.
Zeitler carded an 81 during her 18 holes on Tuesday and she finished with a 250 (84-85-81) total to tie for 43rd. Zeitler had four birdies during the tournament.

The Hawkeyes will return to action Friday, traveling to Colorado to compete in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate from Oct. 7-9.
