IOWA CITY, Iowa — Hannah Sieperda was promoted to Director of Track and Field Operations head coach Joey Woody announced Friday.
Previously, she acted as the Assistant Director of Operations, beginning in April 2022.
Sieperda works closely with the coaching staff to help facilitate the day-to-day operations of the programs. She serves as the team’s travel coordinator, oversees the program’s budget and acts as a liaison to all external relations staff. Sieperda also assists with on-campus recruiting and coordinating camps and clinics.
Before her time with the track and field program, Sieperda was the Assistant Director at the University of Iowa Trademark Licensing and Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame & Museum. Sieperda was also a manager for the Iowa Hawkeye Wrestling Program from 2016-2021.
A native of Rock Rapids, Iowa, she graduated from The University of Iowa with a double major in English, non-fiction writing and Sport and Recreation Management. She is currently pursuing a law degree from Drexel University.
