IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa cross country team announced its 2023 schedule on Friday.
The Hawkeyes have six regular-season meets on the docket, kicking off the season with the Hawkeye Invite at the Ashton Cross Country Course on Sept. 1.
Iowa will be on the road for the next five meets, including the Badger Classic in Madison, Wisconsin, the Redbird Invite in Normal, Illinois, the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite in South Bend, Indiana, the Bradley Pink Invite in Peoria, Illinois, and the Illinois Invite in Champaign, Illinois.
The Hawkeyes will head back to Madison, Wisconsin for the Big Ten Championships on Oct. 27 and the NCAA Midwest Regional will take place Nov. 10 back in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Teams and student-athletes that advance past the Midwest Regional will compete at the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships held in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Nov. 18.
