Lundmark, Meyer Lead Iowa at Fallen Oak Collegiate

BILOXI, MISS. – The University of Iowa men’s golf team concluded round one of the Fallen Oaks Collegiate Invitational on Sunday. The Hawkeyes are currently 11th on the leaderboard.

Graduate student Josh Lundmark, competing individually, finished as the low scorer for the Hawkeyes at 2-under par (70). Lundmark’s day was highlighted by a hole in one on No. 14.

Lundmark finished the round with just one bogey and is tied for sixth place.

Lundmark’s par three average of 2.50 (-2) ties for the best in the field through 18 holes. Lundmark also leads the tournament in pars (15).

Junior Ian Meyer was the next low finisher for Iowa at one-under par. He is in 12th place heading into Monday after shooting 71 (-1) in the first round.
