High School — three-time All-American… ran on state champion 1,600-meter relay as a freshman… two-time runner-up in 400 meters at state meet, placed second as part of 400-meter relay junior year, and fourth in 100 meters and 200 meters senior year… two-time 400-meter conference champion, winning titles in 100 meters as a senior and as part of 400-meter relay as a freshman… conference runner-up in 200 meters as a senior and 100 meters as a junior… three-time all-state, all-sectional and all-conference honoree… set school records in 100 meters (11.71), indoor 200 meters (24.75), and as part of 1,600-meter relay (3:48.61)… other best marks were 24.18 in 200 meters, 55.50 in 400 meters and 18-9 (5.72m) in long jump… won 200 meters at 2022 USATF state meet and won long jump at 2022 USATF Region 7 meet… placed seventh in 400 meters at 2019 USATF Junior Olympic Nationals… lettered four years in track, earning 110% and team leader awards… also competed in volleyball… coached by Zontavius Johnson, Kirk Robinson, and Howard Birmingham… four-year honor roll and Board of Distinguished Scholar award winner… earned Presidential Award for Educational Excellence senior year… elected class president, National Honor Society president, and Key Club board member… appointed to Illinois Congressional Youth Cabinet.
