2019-20 Honors — Big Ten Diver of the Week on Oct. 9… Academic All-Big Ten selection. 2019-20 — Posted NCAA Zone Diving standards off the 1-meter (320.10), 3-meter (356.33), and platform (344.85)… led the team on the 3-meter… placed 13th off the platform at the Big Ten Championships (308.50)… placed ninth off platform (651.90) 16th off 1-meter (571.95), and 17th off 3-meter (638.90) at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.

2018-19 Honors – Recipient of the Men’s Diving MVP Award… Academic All-Big Ten selection. 2018-19 — NCAA Championships qualifier… posted NCAA Zone Diving standards off the 1-meter (341.80), 3-meter (391.40), and platform (365.35)… posted a career best off the 1-meter (341.80) at the Hawkeye Invitational and on the 3-meter (391.40) against Michigan and Denver… competed at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on the 1-meter (595.40, 14th overall), 3-meter (315.00), and platform (687.15, fourth overall)… competed at the NCAA Championships on the platform, posting a score of 250.40 to place 40th overall… placed eighth off the 1-meter (340.70) at the Big Tens.

2017-18 Honors — Recipient of the Men’s Diving MVP Award… Big Ten Diver of the Week and Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Oct. 11. 2017-18 — Dove to NCAA Zone Standards off the 1-meter (340.50), 3-meter (389.50), and platform (415.65)… dove to a school record off the platform (415.65) in the prelims at the Big Ten Championships… finished eighth overall off platform (381.00) at Big Tens…placed ninth off platform (655.50), 12th off 3-meter (359.80), and 16th off 1-meter (633.05) at NCAA Zone D Championships… led the team off the 1-meter and platform and was third off the 3-meter… dove to five individual event victories.

High School — Four-time All-American… two time Texas 6A runner-up (junior and senior), placed fourth as a sophomore and fifth as a freshman… bronze medalist at the 2016 USA Diving Nationals off the platform… placed eighth at juniors off 1-meter and fifth off seniors platform… 3-meter senior finalist at the USA Diving Nationals… broke his own school records each season, including a 597 score as a senior off the 1-meter… high school coach was Bob Liber.

Personal — Born Feb. 27, 1999, in Murmansk, Russia… son of Amy Jo Hoherz and Jeff Hoherz… both parents are University of Iowa alums… has two younger siblings, Chase and Logan… majoring in music, viola performance.
