2008 Spring — Competed at #1 singles… led the Hawkeyes with 15 dual victories and seven wins in conference… finished 15-6 overall in dual play and 7-3 against Big Ten competition… the 15 dual victories at the #1 position are the most for a Hawkeye since 2001… finished the 2007-08 season with 26 victories… played 11 dual matches against ranked opponents, winning five of them… was ranked throughout the year… ranked as high as 69th in singles play by ITA… teamed up with fellow senior J.P. 2007 Fall — Advanced to Big Ten singles tournament finals, losing to #124 Jason Jung of Michigan, 4-6, 6-7 (6) in the finals… won Flight A singles title at Purdue Invitational… defeated #92 Mike Scroczynski of Michigan (6-0, 7-5) and #101 Nolan Polley of Wisconsin (6-1, 4-6, 6-4) at the Big Ten singles tournament… posted a 10-2 singles record, going on two five-match winning streaks… went 4-2 in doubles play with J.P. Ritchie… won 50th overall doubles match.
2007 Spring — Competed in #1 singles spot… was 12-6 in dual singles and 3-5 in Big Ten competition… compiled 11-8 record with Ritchie in #1 doubles… doubles pair with Ritchie was nationally ranked by ITA throughout the year… Iowa’s Big Ten men’s tennis sportsmanship award winner… Big Ten Sportsman of the Year nominee… academic all-Big Ten…team captain… letterwinner.
2006 Fall — Competed in four fall tournaments… participated in Polo All-American Tournament… captured doubles championship with J.P. Ritchie at the Louisville Invitational… had 6-4 record in singles… paired with Ritchie in doubles to compile 4-1 record.
2006 Spring — Played at #1 singles spot… compiled 2-9 singles record in Big Ten play…was 6-13 overall in singles… faced eight nationally-ranked singles opponents… competed at #2 doubles with Chaitu Malempati (7-6)… compiled a Hawkeye-best 11-9 overall doubles record… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.
2005 Fall — Competed at all four fall season tournaments… suffered two losses to nationally ranked opponents… compiled 6-5 record in singles…teamed with Brett Taylor (1-3) and Aaon Schaechterle (3-1) in doubles… doubles record with Schaechterle was a Hawkeye-best.
2005 Spring — Posted 10-11 dual record at No. 4 singles… 10 dual wins ranked second on the team…notched conference victories over Wisconsin, Indiana, and Purdue… his three conference victories ranked second on the team… clinched Iowa’s dual victory with his three-set win over Felipe Bellido of Wisconsin… tied Adam Monich of Michigan State at one set apiece in Big Ten Tournament play… compiled 12-10 dual doubles record, including a 5-6 conference mark… went 8-8 at No. 2 doubles with Chaitu Malempati and went 4-2 at No. 3 doubles teamed with J.P. Ritchie… recorded 17 overall doubles wins, ranking him second on the team.
2004 Fall — Competed in all four events… led the team in singles matches competed in (10)… compiled a 4-6 overall record in singles competition… recorded an overall record on 5-3 in doubles play… teamed with Chaitu Malempati to record a 4-3 record in doubles action… advanced to the second round of the ITA Regionals’ Main Draw in doubles play teamed with Chaitu Malempati.
High School — Competed for the Bastion Baselaar Club in Den Bosch, Netherlands… also played field hockey on the team that earned fourth of the Netherlands… high school coach was Mike Martin.
