2018-19 — Posted NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 breast (53.06) and 200 breast (1:55.51)… led the team in both events… finished seventh in the 400-medley relay (3:09.35) and ninth in 200-medley relay (1:26.27) at the Big Ten Championships… was 12th in 100 breast (53.06) at Big Tens.
2017-18 Honors — Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Dec. 6… named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. 2017-18 — Posted NCAA “B” qualifying times in the 100 breast (53.74), 200 breast (1:56.86), and 200 IM (1:48.66)… scored in four events at the Big Ten Championships… member of the fifth-place 200-medley (1:25.77) and 400-medley (3:08.24) relays… also placed 12th in 200 breast (1:56.86) and 14th in 100 breast (53.97)… led the team in the 100 breast and 200 breast and was second in the 200 IM… member of the team-leading 200 and 400-medley relays… swam to four individual event victories.
High School — Represented South Africa at the World Junior Championships in Singapore in 2015… competed at the African Youth Championships in Angola in 2016… was the Western Cape Provincial champion in 100 and 200-meter breast for age groups 15, 16, 17, and 18… won the 200-meter breaststroke at the South African Senior Nationals in 2:15.83… placed third in the 100-meter breast (1:02.80) and fifth in 50-meter breast (29.53)… also swam the 200-meter IM (2:07.00)… holds school records in 50, 100, and 200 breast, 100 fly, and 200 IM… also played provincial water polo… received full academic colors… earned seven A+ distinctions as a senior… high school coach was Hilton Slack.
