Bio
Ben Lober is in his third season with the Iowa women’s basketball program, serving as the Video Coordinator and Director of Analytics. Lober was a pivotal piece during Iowa’s back-to-back National Title runs in 2023 and 2024.
THE LOBER FILE
• Oversees all scouting video operations and analytics for team
• Coordinates video exchange
• Compiles advanced analytics for National Television broadcasts
• Oversees a handful of student managers that assist in practice and operations of the program
PRIOR TO IOWA
• Has served as a graduate assistant with Canisius College as the Academic and Operations Coach for women’s basketball, coordinating all video responsibilities throughout the season including practice, game and film exchange with the opposing teams.
• Spent two years working with Michigan State women’s basketball as a student manager and head manager assisting with video and evaluation responsibilities.
PERSONAL
• Graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and quantitative data analytics in 2020.
• He earned his master’s in sports administration from Canisius College in 2023.
