UI Director of Ticket Operations David Sandstrum announced today that the home game for Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes against Penn State on Oct. 25 has reached sellout status, and Iowa’s game against Illinois on Nov. 1 is about 200 tickets short of a sellout.
Iowa’s 2003 Homecoming against Michigan on Oct. 4 was announced a sellout last week. Tomorrow’s game against Arizona State is also a sellout.
Sandstrum said a limited number of “singles” — single seats located through legendary Kinnick Stadium — are still available for the Penn State games. Those tickets can be purchased at the Athletic Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and by telephone at 1-800 IA-HAWKS.
“Our success at the ticket window is a direct result of the outstanding work of our coaching staff and student-athletes. It’s also a clear reflection of how excited friends and fans are about the Iowa football program under Kirk’s leadership.”

Sandstrum noted that tickets to Iowa’s annual battle for Floyd of Rosedale with the Minnesota Golden Gophers scheduled for Nov. 15 at Kinnick are available, but the game is quickly approaching sellout status.
