Television Plan: Iowa-Michigan State

Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes will open defense of their Big Ten Conference championship on the road with a game Saturday against Michigan State inside Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, MI. Live television coverage from ESPN Plus will begin at 11 a.m.

Iowa’s first seven games for 2003 will be televised live by television partners of the Big Ten Conference.

Iowa’s game at Michigan State is the fifth straight television appearance for the Hawkeyes. Iowa’s game against Michigan inside legendary Kinnick Stadium and the Hawkeyes’ date Oct. 18 against Ohio State in Columbus have also been selected for live television. Those games will be broadcast live by ABC-TV. Coverage for both games will begin at 2:30 p.m. Iowa time.
