The Big Ten Conference has announced that ABC-TV will be traveling to legendary Kinnick Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 25, to provide live regional coverage of Iowa’s home game against Penn State. Kickoff is scheduled for shortly after 11 a.m.

Iowa, ranked No. 9 by both ESPN/USA Today and the Associated Press this week, travels to Columbus, OH, this Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. Iowa time date with No. 8 Ohio State. That game is also scheduled for live regional coverage by ABC-TV. Penn State is idle this week.
The announcement means the first eight games of the season for the 2003 Iowa Hawkeyes will have been televised live. That list includes the last three by ABC-TV (Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State).
