Iowa-Illinois TV Plan Set

Oct. 20, 2003

The Big Ten Conference has announced an 11 a.m. start time for its live television coverage of Iowa’s home game Nov. 1 against Illinois inside legendary Kinnick Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN Plus with announcers Wayne Larrivee and Randy Wright.

The Iowa-Illinois broadcast will be Iowa’s ninth straight television appearance in 2003 and it will be played before another sellout crowd at Kinnick.

The Hawkeyes and Fighting Illini have not played since a 31-0 Illinois victory in November 2000. Iowa trails in the series with the Illini, 24-37-2.

Iowa enterains Penn State this Saturday; Illinois will entertain Minnesota.
