Game time at historic Kinnick Stadium is set for shortly after 11 a.m. A limited number of tickets remain available and a fifth straight sellout at Kinnick is possible. The game will be televised live by ESPN.
This year’s battle for the bronzed pig named Floyd is also Senior Day for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Friends and fans of the Hawkeyes will say thank you to 24 senior members of the 2003 Iowa football team who will conclude their career as an Iowa Hawkeye with an appearance in their third straight post-season bowl game later this season.
Fans attending this week’s game will be eligible to win a variety of prizes ranging from souvenir merchandise to season tickets to the home games of the 2004 Iowa Hawkeyes. Randomly selected seat locations will be displayed on HawkVision throughout the first half. Fans can claim their prize at the Iowa Football Fan Appreciation Redemption Center located immediately below the main scoreboard in the south concourse of Kinnick Stadium.
Winning seat locations will also be posted on hawkeyesports.com and will be kept on file in the UI Sports Marketing Office, 205 Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
“This group of seniors – like the others before them – have done a tremendous job of leading this team through a very challenging year. It’s been fun watching them grow into the young men they are today,” said Kirk Ferentz of his 2003 senior class.
