Iowa’s Outback Bowl events list
Here’s today’s glimpse into what others are writing and saying about the 2004 Outback Bowl in the days leading up to the game betweeen the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Florida Gators on Jan. 1 in Tampa.
Fans of the Hawkeyes probably know that Iowa and Florida have met only once before…in the ’83 Gator Bowl. Interestingly, however, Florida has played in only one Outback Bowl. That was last year when the Gators lost to Michigan, 38-30.
